What is BT?
BT stands for Brisbane Transport, which is one of several divisions of the Brisbane City Council.
Brisbane Transport is responsible for the operation of scheduled bus services in Brisbane & the surrounding suburbs under contract to the Translink Transit Authority (TTA), a Queensland government body responsible for public transport in South East Queensland.

- Over 2000 staff employed, of whom over 1700 of those staff are bus operators
- Eight bus depots situated in and around Brisbane
- Workshop that does major engine overhaul, electrical & body repairs

- Brisbane Transport buses carry over 60 million passengers annually
- 24 hour bus services from early Friday morning to late Sunday night
